Jamie Morin, PhD
Founder & President
As the founder and president of Synchrony Point, Jamie draws on nearly 30 years of experience leading service, sales, and marketing teams and managing complex business initiatives in both B2B and B2C industries as well as in higher education. Prior to forming Synchrony Point she was the Senior Vice President of Global Client Operations for WEX, a provider of physical, digital, and virtual payment solutions to businesses around the world. Jamie was responsible for customer experience at WEX. She and her team oversaw all aspects of customer, partner, and merchant services, including contact center support, account management, and credit risk management. Before joining WEX, Jamie led admissions, marketing and sales teams for Saint Joseph's College and Portland Glass Company.
Jamie has a PhD in psychology from Capella University. Her dissertation title was: Differences in Leader Self-efficacy Based on Mentor Relationships and Leader Gender. She also has an MA in organizational management and a BA in communication. Jamie's formal coach training was completed at the Gestalt International Study Center and she is certified as a professional coach (PCC) by the International Coach Federation.
Jamie has been a guest speaker at a number of conferences including The Service Council's Smarter Services Symposium, Frost & Sullivan's Customer Contact East, and Aberdeen's Chief Service Officers' Summit. She currently serves on the executive committee of the Maine Coaches Connection, and as a member of the advisory board for the Olympia Snowe Women's Leadership Institute.
